At the age of 27, I
have been fortunate to spend my entire working life in the golf
business. It is truly my passion. It is a passion that began as
far back as I can remember, walking along nine holes with my dad
and uncle. I will never forget the feeling of executing a golf
shot after one of them instructed me how to position my hands or
where to position the golf ball.
By the age of
nine, I knew that golf would be a part of my life forever. Since
my first job, I have been able to acquire invaluable experience
in all areas of the golf business from the bottom up. My mission
has allowed me to understand the differences and similarities
between public, semi-private, and exclusively private
facilities. I have been fortunate enough to work at all of them.
I was afforded the opportunity to begin giving private lessons
as well as assisting with junior programs at an early age. It
was at this point that I knew that teaching golf would become my
focus in life. Currently, I am the head teaching professional at
a 45-hole and an 18-hole facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In the past two
years, I have been able to grow a junior program from six kids
to over 65, and feel that this is just the beginning. I give
free clinics on a weekly basis, which has resulted in a boom to
my private lesson business. The procedures and methods instilled
upon me by Bob Wyatt, Steve Williams, and the USGTF have helped
me develop a successful teaching program. This will never be
forgotten as I reach toward higher goals in the future.
