| Sixteen
USGTF members recently joined one of the most exclusive groups
in the golf teaching industry - USGTF Level IV Master Teaching
Professional.
Although
the World Golf Teachers Federation comprises over 18,000 members, less than 500 members can call themselves a Master Golf Teaching Professional®. This
designation goes to those who have completed further requirements
in order to attain that status. The requirements include a
more proficient playing ability, a thesis presentation, a
shotmaking demonstration, and a written teaching examination.
USGTF
President Geoff Bryant said, "The decision for USGTF
members to achieve their Level IV Masters certification status
shows their continued commitment to the growth and popularity
of the game."
The group
impressed Bob Wyatt, Mark Harman, and Steve Williams, who
examined at the class.
"Each
participant really knew his stuff," said Harman. "The
overall level of talent and knowledge really was high. These
16 will be a fine addition to our family of Master Teaching
Professionals.
“Master Golf Teaching Professional®” is a
federally-registered trademark owned by the United States
Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF®).
The use of this trademark is prohibited other than USGTF &
WGTF members.
